Italian Dressing/Marinade with Italian herbs and spices can be used as a dressing for lettuce or pasta salads or marinade for vegetables and meat. Way better than store-bought and ready in minutes!

Ingredients in Italian Dressing/Marinade

  • avocado oil or olive oil
  • apple cider vinegar
  • dijon mustard
  • sugar
  • grated dry parmesan romano cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • red pepper flakes
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper

How to Make Italian Dressing Marinade

In a mason jar or bowl, combine oil, vinegar, mustard, cheese, herbs, and spices. Shake or stir until combined.

Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Separation is normal, shake or stir just before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Serving Suggestions

  • Makes a great marinade for Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Italian Chicken (pictured above).
  • An Italian salad with lettuce, pepperoncini peppers, tomatoes, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Brush over vegetables such as carrots, zucchini, potatoes, etc. before grilling or roasting.
  • Brush over grilled skewers.

Instructions

  • In a mason jar or bowl, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, parsley, salt, and pepper. Shake or stir until combine.
    Serve immediately or chill until ready to use.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
