Huckleberry Vodka Cocktail is a super simple and refreshing summer cocktail recipe. With huckleberry vodka and fresh lemonade.
Walking around gift shops in little mountain towns, I always see huckleberry-flavored goodies. I’ve found jams, jellies, syrups, honey, taffy, chocolates, and much more. I have seen huckleberry goodies in Colorado, Montana, Jackson Hole, and several other mountain town destinations. My curiosity about what huckleberries taste like has grown over the years. When I heard about huckleberry vodka, I knew I needed to give it a try! Huckleberries are purple in color and look and taste pretty similar to blueberries. So they pair perfectly with fresh lemonade. This Huckleberry Vodka Cocktail makes the perfect thirst-quenching summer drink to beat the heat!
Fresh huckleberries can be found in many Pacific Northwest areas such as forests. They often grow in the Rocky Mountains and are especially popular in Montana and Idaho. They are hard to find in stores as they grow in the wild and have never successfully grown commercially. If you are interested in trying huckleberry goodies, many items can be found at Walmart.com.
