Cotton Candy Cocktail is an easy and festive drink with sparkling wine and cotton candy. When the sparkling wine is poured over the cotton candy, it dissolves leaving a sweet and colorful cocktail everyone will love!

Cotton candy champagne cocktail is the perfect party drink! Great for gender reveals, baby showers, bachelorette parties, wedding showers, galentines day, girls’ night, mother’s day, summer gatherings, New Year’s eve, and birthday parties. It really is great for so many celebrations and occasions! Plus it is so easy to make. Just grab some cotton candy place it into a pretty glass and pour some sparkling wine or champagne over the top. When the wine is poured over the cotton candy, it dissolves leaving a sweet and colorful cocktail. Add a little cotton candy for garnish on the rim. And you have an easy and festive drink!

How to Make Cotton Candy Champagne Drink

1. Fill champagne glasses ¾ full with cotton candy.
2. Slowly pour the sparkling wine over the cotton candy. Leave about an inch at the top of your glass for garnish.
3. Garnish with a small piece of cotton candy on the rim of the glass. Make sure you don’t touch the cotton candy to the sparkling wine or it will disintegrate. Serve immediately.

What Type of Alcohol to use?

For cotton candy mimosas, use sparkling wine such as prosecco, rose, or champagne.

Where to Buy Cotton Candy?

Your local grocery store may carry cotton candy. Walmart is also a great place to buy, I have seen it at Family Tree, or buy on Amazon.

Tips/Variations

• You could garnish the rim with sprinkles or colored coarse sugar for an even more festive feel.
• Make sure to leave some room at the top of the glass to garnish.
• When using cotton candy as garnish, make sure it doesn’t touch the wine or it will dissolve.

Non-Alcoholic Cotton Candy Drink

I made a non-alcoholic cotton candy drink for my kids and they loved it. Just pour club soda or sprite over cotton candy.
