Ingredients for Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
- Potatoes- I like Yukon gold but you can also use red or russet potatoes for this recipe. Peel and dice the potatoes.
- Cheese- White cheddar or gouda is really good too. I recommend adding shredded cheese so it melts when added to the potatoes.
- Milk- Use heavy cream, half and half, or whole milk for creamy potatoes.
- Butter- Adds richness to potatoes and is a must for mashed potatoes.
- Horseradish- Just 2 teaspoons or add more if desired to add great flavor.
- Salt and pepper- Add to taste.
