These baked buffalo chicken pinwheels make an amazing easy appetizer. With shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and a little ranch dip mix for flavor. Wrapped in flaky puff pastry then dip it in ranch dressing or blue cheese. Unlike some pinwheel recipes which are served cold rolled in a tortilla. These are served wrapped in warm puff pastry for a satisfying appetizer recipe. It’s sure to be a winner!

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Puff Pastry Pinwheels
- Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch seasoning.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture onto each pastry leaving about a half an inch around the edges uncovered. Sprinkle each with ½ cup of shredded cheese.
- Roll into a log starting from the long side. Place seam down then slice into ¾ inch pieces. Transfer to the cookie sheets and space the pinwheels 2 inches apart.
- Bake 25-27 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with ranch dressing or blue cheese.

If you are in a pinch, canned chicken also works for this recipe! I had a party I was planning on making these for and couldn’t get to the store to get a rotisserie chicken. Everyone loved the pinwheels made with canned chicken.
