Cinnamon Dolce Syrup is an easy, sweet, and flavorful syrup with plenty of vanilla and cinnamon. Perfect for making cinnamon dolce lattes, stirring in your morning cup of coffee or tea, or even spicing up hot apple cider and hot chocolate.

What is Cinnamon Dolce?

Cinnamon dolce is a popular Starbucks syrup used for lattes. Its name is Italian for “sweet cinnamon.” What does cinnamon dolce taste like? It tastes just like its name! This copycat cinnamon dolce recipe tastes sweet with amazing brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors.

How do you pronounce dolce? Dowl-chay. Now you can make the popular Starbucks cinnamon dolce latte or other drinks at home. With a super easy recipe and only 5 simple ingredients!

Ingredients

All you need for this recipe is sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and water.

How to Make Cinnamon Dolce Syrup

  1. Add water, cane sugar, and brown sugar to a saucepan, stir. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, grate the edges of the cinnamon sticks with the fine side of a vegetable grater. This helps to bring out the flavor of the cinnamon. I grated about half of a â…› tsp.
  3. Once the mixture boils, reduce the heat to low. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon sticks, and grated cinnamon. Simmer for approximately 12-15 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken.
  4. Turn off the heat to allow mixtur to cool and thicken for 20-30 minutes. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
  5. Serve or store for later use.
