Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce Recipe has a wonderful combination of tangy, slightly sweet, and a little spicy flavors. A quick and tasty sauce for drizzling on your favorite smoked or grilled meats.
In the summer, I am all about the barbecue! My favorite place for bbq is called Piggin’ Out Smokehouse. Which is a very small local place with barely any inside seating. But I love to go in the summer because there is plenty of room to sit outside. I usually get a pulled pork sandwich along with a side of mac and cheese and a kale salad. And sometimes splurge on banana pudding. They have several different bbq sauces and I always get the Carolina gold bbq. It is both tangy and sweet and compliments the meat perfectly.
What is Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce?
It is a yellow mustard-based bbq sauce made with vinegar, sweetener, Worcestershire, and a little spice. So you get a sauce that is tangy, mildly sweet, with a little spicy kick. It’s especially tasty on smoked meats!
