I have had my food processor for many years now. I used it frequently to make baby food when my girls were little. It perfectly pureed sweet potatoes which were one of my daughter’s favorites. Now, I use it to puree homemade sauces and dressings. It’s a time saver for crushing nuts or chopping herbs and vegetables. Also great for making oat flour.

Things to Consider Before Buying the Mini Prep Food Processor
The mini prep has a 3 cup capacity. If you feel that this is not sufficient for the things you need to grind and chop consider purchasing the 4-cup or 8-cup processor.
Purchase the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus 4-cup processor if you still want the compact size but need a little larger bowl capacity. It’s approximately $10 more than the 3-cup but may be worth it for you.
Consider purchasing the Cuisinart Elemental 8-cup Food Processor for larger portions, shredding vegetables, mixing dough, and pureeing soups. It is much bigger and higher powdered. It comes with an adjustable slicing disc, reversible shredding disc – medium to fine, and stainless steel chopping/mixing/dough blade. I also have the 8-cup processor which I love to use for full-sized food such as shredding carrots and zucchini. I also make oat flour and puree soups in it. It’s nice for all those larger capacity recipes.

The Cuisinart Mini Food Processor is a great kitchen gadget with the ability to chop, grind, puree, and mix. With a compact design and affordable price it can be a big help in the kitchen.
