Maple Brown Sugar Frosting
¼cupbutter
2tbsppure maple syrup
2tbspbrown sugar
1cuppowdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.Line the baking dish with parchment paper or foil. Or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Using a stand or hand mixer, beat melted butter and sugar until well mixed. Add in eggs and vanilla extract. Continue to beat until very well mixed. Add flour, salt, and mashed bananas, Stir to combine.
Spread batter into the baking dish.Bake approximately 30 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool.
To make the frosting, heat a small saucepan on medium heat. Add the butter to melt. Once melted, stir in maple syrup and brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Once the mixture has come to a boil, remove it from heat. Let cool for 5 minutes then whisk in the powdered sugar until smooth.Spread frosting onto the cooled blondies. Slice and serve.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
