Equipment

  • high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 3 clementines or tangerines or 1 navel orange, peel removed
  • 1 apple cored and quartered
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 carrot peeled and chopped
  • ½ cup blackberries or blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 dates, pitted substitute maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp acai powder or frozen acai packet
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced, substitute ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 cup + ice to reach desired consistency

Instructions

  • To a blender, add clementines, apples, bananas, carrots, blackberries, dates, acai powder, ginger, turmeric, and ice.
    Blend for a couple of minutes until smooth (stop and scrape down the sides and reblend if needed). Add more ice and blend until the desired consistancy is reached.
    Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
