Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Unfold pizza dough to make a rectangle. Cut pizza dough into 1 inch thick strips making approximately 15 strips. Fold strips in half then roll to approximately 8-inch long ropes. Tie dough into a knot then tuck the loose ends underneath. Place knots on a prepared cookie sheet.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and salt. Using a marinade brush, brush tops of the knots with the butter mixture (reserving approximately a third of the mixture for brushing on at the end).
Bake for approximately 12 minutes or until golden. Brush with remaining butter mixture. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
