Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • parchment paper
  • pizza cutter or sharp knife
  • small bowl
  • marinade brush

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 tbsps butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tbsp dried parmesan cheese
  • ¾ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unfold pizza dough to make a rectangle. Cut pizza dough into 1 inch thick strips making approximately 15 strips.
Fold strips in half then roll to approximately 8-inch long ropes. Tie dough into a knot then tuck the loose ends underneath. Place knots on a prepared cookie sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and salt. Using a marinade brush, brush tops of the knots with the butter mixture (reserving approximately a third of the mixture for brushing on at the end).
  • Bake for approximately 12 minutes or until golden.
Brush with remaining butter mixture. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
