Wash and dry the lemons. Zest the lemons using a microplane or the fine side of a vegetable grater.
Preheat oven to 175°F. Spread out zest on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until dried.Mix together dried lemon zest, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Use as desired or store for later use. Seasoning may separate, shake before using.
Store leftover seasoning in an airtight container for up to 1 year.
