  • high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherries, pitted and stem removed fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice approx. 6 lemons
  • ¾ cup cane sugar
  • 4 cups cold water divided

Instructions

  • If using fresh cherries, pit your cherries and remove the stem. Juice the lemons.
In a high-speed blender, pour in pitted cherries, lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup of water.
Blend until the cherries are completely broken down. Add the rest of the water and stir to mix or blend (adjust to taste).
    Serve over ice.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigertor for 5-7 days. Stir before serving.

Notes

Adjust the sugar and water as needed.
Cherry lemonade is also really tasty with a splash of club soda.
Run drink mixture through a sieve if your blender didn't break down the cherry skins completely.
