- 1 mug hot water filled ¾ full
- 1 bag chai tea
- ¼ cup milk dairy, non dairy, or plant-based
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup or sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp pumpkin puree
- ⅛ tsp cinnamon plus extra garnish if desired
Heat water using the microwave or stove. Fill a mug ¾ of the way full with hot water. Add a tea bag and let it steep for 4 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water from the tea bag and discard the bag. Combine milk, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, vanilla, and cinnamon. Heat mixture in microwave or on the stove (if desired). Froth the mixture using a frother or immersion blender. Pour frothed milk over chai tea. Top with cinnamon if desired. Serve.
